Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.”

“God has made us what we are, and in our union with Christ Jesus he has created us for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared/destined for us to do.”

{the good deeds make up our destiny the more we surrender and yield to the Lord our prearranged destiny comes to pass and we are rewarded for simply doing what he wanted us to accomplish}

We're all masterpieces, intricately designed by the ultimate Artist. Just like a skilled painter takes pride in their work, God crafted each of us with loving care, paying attention to every detail. Psalm 139:13-16 reminds us that we weren't just thrown together; we were carefully woven, a work of art hidden from sight, but known to the One who sees it all.

Genesis 1:27 tells us we're made in God's image, a reflection of His beauty and goodness. This means our bodies are more than just physical forms; they're vessels of divine potential. When we take care of ourselves, we're not just primping or pampering; we're honoring the masterpiece within. These verses gently remind us of our inherent worth. We’re special, not because we’re perfect, but because we’re fearfully and wonderfully made. God has a special purpose for each of us.

So, the next time you look in the mirror, see yourself not as a flawed creation, but as a work in progress. Embrace your unique beauty, inside and out. Remember, you're created by God, for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do and you're worth the care and attention.

Guided Meditation 

Find a quiet place where you can sit or lie down comfortably. Close your eyes gently and take a few deep breaths. As you inhale, imagine you're drawing in a warm, golden light. As you exhale, let go of any tension or stress, releasing it like a cloud of mist.

Continue this rhythmic breathing, feeling your body relax deeper and deeper. With each breath, visualize this golden light expanding, filling your entire being. It's the love and presence of God, soothing your soul and calming your mind.

Reflect on the words of Psalm 139:13-16. Picture yourself as a delicate tapestry, intricately woven by the Master Artist. Every thread, every pattern, is a testament to God's artistry and love. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, a masterpiece beyond compare.

Now, turn your attention to Ephesians 2:10. Imagine yourself as a clay pot, being molded and shaped by the Potter's hands. God is working within you, transforming you into a vessel for His purposes. Trust in His process and embrace the journey of spiritual growth.

As you continue to breathe deeply, let the peace of God flood your heart and mind. You are loved, cherished, and uniquely created. Rest in His love and embrace the beautiful person you are.

Prayer

Gracious God, I know that you are my potter. You made me. You redeemed me. You re-created me in Christ to be your masterpiece.

How I thank you, dear Lord, for not giving up on me when I’m less than you intend. Thank you for your patience and mercy. Thank you for continuing to shape me even when I resist you and your work.

Help me to live each moment of each day for you and your purposes. May I acknowledge you as my potter, not only through my words, but also through my works. By your Spirit, help me to do the good things you have planned for me so long ago.

All praise be to you, O God, Sovereign Lord, my potter. Amen.
